Christina Hamalian

Christina_gray1Christina Hamalian is an Associate Attorney. Christina received her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Alabama School of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2014. While in law school, Christina was the Notes Editor of the Alabama Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Law Review, Vol. 5. Christina was also a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society and a recipient of the Dean’s Community Service Award.

Christina earned her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a major in Political Science and a minor in Economics from the Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University, manga cum laude, in 2011. While at the Honors College, Christina was a Florida Bright Futures Academic Scholar, the Mellon Honors Scholar, the Edward E. Shoaf Honors Ethics Scholar, Executive Women of the Palm Beaches Scholar, and on the Dean’s List.

Prior to joining Golden and Grimes LLP, Christina was In-House Counsel for a specialty finance company that specializes in purchasing future payment streams from structured settlement annuitants across the country. Christina represented the company in courts throughout Florida on transfer matters related to the structured settlements. Christina also handled unemployment claims before the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. Christina routinely advised the company on a myriad of legal issues including employment law, compliance, and legislative changes that could impact business.
